Which brands of machinery do you stock? The primary brands we stock and sell are Geax and Cobra. However, we also sell a variety of refurbished machinery and ex-demonstrators where makes and models can vary. If you are looking for a specific rig, we can utilise our network of clients and help source particular machinery and/or equipment.
Where do you ship to? Due to our yard’s location, we have access to a large number of UK ports enabling us to ship internationally with ease. We have many years of shipping experience and have successfully delivered piling rigs to all regions of the globe. Throughout the transportation process, our team are able to assist you by providing updates and handling documentation such as insurance forms and customs declarations. We offer extremely competitive shipping rates, and total cost breakdowns can be requested and provided for any of our rigs/equipment at the initial quotation stage.
Do you offer finance? We work with a number of finance providers who understand underlying asset classes and can therefore offer extremely reasonable and competitive finance rates. We are happy to work with clients to ensure they are offered the best possible rates, subject to status.
Can rigs and equipment be modified? Yes, our workshop is situated on site enabling us to customise or modify certain machinery and equipment to meet specific requirements. We can undertake a variety of custom requests, from simple mast extensions to more complex projects such as total rig adjustments and bespoke branding. Our workshop team offer an array of services which can be tailor-made to suit you.
Do you sell drilling equipment as well as piling rigs? We sell a complete range of machinery and equipment, both new and second-hand. In terms of drilling equipment, we have an assortment of accessories and consumables available to purchase as individual pieces or as an addition to complement your new piling rig. From augers, clamps, and oscillators, to casings, drill bits and gates, we carry a large array of equipment suitable for all projects, machinery, and job sites.
What kind of rigs do you hire out? We have a variety of machinery available for nationwide hire, including but not limited to, mini SFA rigs, mini drop hammer rigs, CFA and rotary machines. Our equipment is suitable for working on different job sites, including those with specific constraints such as restricted access, limited headroom, noise restrictions and tricky ground conditions. All our rigs are fully serviced and fuelled prior to their departure, ensuring your rig is ready to start working as soon as it arrives on site.
What kind of equipment do you hire out? In addition to our range of machinery, we also are able to provide an assortment of complementary piling equipment and drilling accessories such as augers, clamps, and buckets. We stock and supply a variety of consumables encompassing a wide range of sizes to suit machinery of all shapes and sizes.
Do you offer training? When hiring equipment from us, we are happy to send one of our engineers to site in order to train your staff how to operate the machinery safely and efficiently. Alternatively, if you need a rig operator to work the machinery on your behalf, we can provide contact details of external piling contractors who are able to provide operative services.
Are your plant hire contracts flexible? We offer a variety of flexible rental options ensuring complete workability for all our clients. Our machinery and equipment can be hired nationwide, from three days to twelve months plus, we offer short- and long-term hire contracts in order to accommodate clients’ needs and requests. We are also able to offer a variety of transportation options enabling us to be amenable to client needs and schedules.
Describe your hire process in 5 steps:
1: Take a look at our website or contact our team to discover more about our current hire fleet. If you are after something specific, please get in touch with us and we will do our best to source the equipment for you.
2: During the initial enquiry, our team like to know as much as possible about your upcoming project requirements and specifications. In order to provide the most suitable equipment we will discuss the following with you; ground conditions, depth/diameter required and any potential restrictions/limitations your site/project may have.
3: Our team will get to work ensuring all equipment is fully inspected, serviced, and fuelled prior to its arrival on site. We make sure everything is in tip-top condition meaning it arrives on site ready to work.
4: Once all the equipment has been prepped and is ready to go, we will arrange haulage directly from our yard to your job site. Alternative transport options are also available if required/preferred.
5: Before your rental period is due to end, get in touch with us to arrange transportation back to our HQ.
What kind of services do you offer? Our workshop team are able to undertake an array of services including, but not limited to, general maintenance and repairs, LOLER inspections, specialist modifications and custom builds. We are also able to source and fit spare parts should these be required. Our team’s comprehensive skillset enables us to carry out general and routine repairs in addition to custom projects and specialist modifications.
Do you conduct repairs/maintenance on equipment purchased elsewhere? Yes. Our workshop team have many years’ experience working with a range of different machines, meaning we are able to undertake a variety of services including repairs and general maintenance checks on machinery and equipment purchased elsewhere. We are also able to source parts for a range of brands, including but not limited to, Soilmec, Hutte, Bauer and Klemm.
What kind of modifications can you complete? Our workshop have completed a wide variety of modifications. From auger adaptations and mast extensions to complete machinery overhauls and bespoke paint jobs, our team have many years of industry experience behind them enabling them to undertake projects of all shapes and sizes.
How quickly can you conduct a repair or undertake a modification? In order to keep our clients at the centre of what we do, we like to organise our work schedule to integrate their preferred time scale. This ensures that the turnaround time is quick, competitive and most importantly, suits the client and their needs.
Do you offer custom built machinery/equipment? Yes, at present our Cobra T-series and D1000 machines are able to be built to order. Once the frame has been selected, there are a number of design items to choose from, including but not limited to; mast height, remote control, optional side shift and winch, Pullmaster winch size and custom paint colours. By enabling clients to choose from a variety of options, ensures their machine is created to specification and is therefore unique to them.
